I was born in Munich, but have lived in Hamburg for 25 years. Even though it doesn’t have any mountains, I think it’s the most beautiful city in Germany.
My wife and I met on the first day of my business studies and next year we’ll be celebrating our silver wedding anniversary. Our two sons are 14 and 16.
I have worked hard for my career and professional success. At the same time, family has always been important to me. So I know how difficult it can be to balance family and career. That’s why I decided to reduce my working hours a few years ago so that I could spend more time with my children.
I love cooking and barbecuing, preferably with family and friends. I relax best when hiking in the mountains or on the water, sailing. In winter, I am a passionate skier.
With my comedy training, I have fulfilled a long-cherished wish. At the same time, I decided to start my own business. Starting all over again in my early 50s was not an easy decision. I made this decision during a week-long hike with my Coach Sieghard Flömer and haven’t regretted it since.
During my very personal transformation from corporate manager to coach and comedian, I went through all the highs and lows of the change curve very intensively and learned a lot about myself. Today I can say: the high at the end is exhilarating!
My trademark is my sense of humor.It has often helped me in my job to master challenging situations with more ease and to win other people over.
And it makes me a particularly empathetic mentor and coach, because humor can relieve tension and lead to a more relaxed view of the situation.
